{"id":336,"date":"2025-10-07T18:03:37","date_gmt":"2025-10-07T18:03:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/540blog.com\/?p=336"},"modified":"2025-10-07T18:03:37","modified_gmt":"2025-10-07T18:03:37","slug":"yellowknife-day-7-flight-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/540blog.com\/?p=336","title":{"rendered":"Yellowknife Day 7 Flight Home"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-container uagb-block-2a0b61b5 alignfull uagb-is-root-container\"><div class=\"uagb-container-inner-blocks-wrap\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">This morning we leave for home.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Our flight will take us from Yellowknife to Vancouver then directly to home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Many of us from the Lodge were on the same flight to Vancouver but from there we all go our separate ways to get home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">When we landed in Vancouver we debated visiting the city because we have an 8 hour layover, but decided not to leave the airport.&nbsp; We had our boots on and we were quite tired so decided to grab some lunch then head to the lounge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Lounge was comfortable, had some lunch, a few drinks, charged the phone and downloaded some podcasts for the trip home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Flight was on time, and was quite comfortable, it only took 5 hours and 40 minutes to fly from Vancouver to Halifax &#8211; Direct flight.&nbsp; We had checked our luggage in Yellowknife and they actually arrived in Halifax.&nbsp; I must say that this entire trip with Air Canada was really quite good, no delays, no lost luggage and we got some meals as well.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">All in all the entire trip was excellent.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This morning we leave for home.&nbsp;&nbsp; Our flight will take us from Yellowknife to Vancouver then directly to home.
